Sonia Carrasco Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection is a stunning result of the brand’s meticulous study of three techniques applied to a single garment to create three distinct styles. The collection employs the curved technique, which curves the pattern to a “C” shape, creating an excess of fabric on one side of the garment when worn.

The piece over piece technique, where two or three garments are layered on top of each other to create a layered, textured effect, and the oversized fitted technique, which stitches an oversized garment so that it fits snugly to the body.

The brand’s moodboard is a juxtaposition of two seemingly opposing forces: sex and crafts.

By bringing together these two concepts, they create a new kind of beauty that transcends the traditional norms of fashion. The approach is to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and make opposites collide in unexpected ways. In this particular collection, we partnered with LVMH to upcycle fabrics from their houses, giving new life to discarded fabrics and turning them into beautiful, one-of-a-kind designs. Additionally, we used both organic and recycled cotton in the creation of these garments, further reducing their impact on the environment.

Sonia studied at central saint martins and graduated from ied Madrid. She went on to work at the ateliers of alexander mcqueen and phoebe philo’s céline before launching her eponymous brand.
