MAËL ROUSSEL Spring/Summer 2025 at Paris Fashion Week

MAËL ROUSSEL Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 at Paris Fashion Week entitled LES HORTENSIAS on September 23, 2024 in Paris.

MAËL ROUSSEL, a Paris-based fashion house, is delighted to present its new and first Spring/Summer 2025 collection entitled “Les Hortensias”. This collection draws on the childhood of its founder and artistic director, Maël Roussel, where flowers, and hydrangeas in particular, have always been a thread running through his memories. Through this collection, Maël explores the art of receiving and giving flowers, translating the emotions, moments of life, smiles and feelings that accompany each floral gesture.

A manifesto of fluidity and transparency “Les Hortensias” is characterized by fluid, colorful and transparent pieces, celebrating the natural beauty of the body. The creations are dotted with floral details, and the house monogram comes in a variety of shapes and materials, even adorning delicate jewelry.

Fabrics such as organza, tulle, chiffon, mesh and denim lend MAËL ROUSSEL Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 collection a lightness and volume that reflect the very essence of hydrangeas: fragile, delicate, yet deeply rooted in the earth.

A FLORAL PALETTE, The colors of the collection directly evoke the shades of hydrangeas: a subtle gradation of purple, pink, blue and green, unfolding on structured cuts and airy silhouettes. Each piece seems bathed in this symphony of floral hues, creating a visual harmony reminiscent of flower gardens and carefully composed bouquets.

A TRIBUTE TO THE BODY, Maël Roussel has imagined this collection as an ode to the body, sublimating it through a play of transparency and superimpositions. The collection embodies an invitation to assume oneself, to celebrate every curve and movement with elegance and assurance. “Les Hortensias” is much more than just a ready-to-wear collection, it’s a celebration of life and emotions.

STNK x MAËL ROUSSEL – For this season, Maël Roussel imagined an exceptional collaboration with Romane Stafiniak, designer of the STNK brand. Founded by Romane Stafiniak, STNK is a brand deeply rooted in its time. Through natural dyeing and garment customization, the brand offers unique pieces in the form of limited series and exclusive collaborations with other artists and designers. It reinforces the individuality of the garment by giving it a second life with a new dye, designed for the garment and handmade in Paris.
