Nanushka and Zara Partnership Announce to Launch Worldwide

Nanushka and Zara Partnership Announce to Launch Worldwide on October 28th 2024.

ZARA X NANUSHKA WHERE INNOVATIVE CRAFT MEETS FUNCTIONAL BEAUTY

Zara announces a new partnership with the global fashion house Nanushka. Dedicated to menswear, jewelry and homewares, the collections epitomise the independent house’s ethos of innovative craft and functional beauty. Founded in Budapest by Sandra Sándor in 2005, Nanushka’s progressive design sensibility is deeply rooted in Hungarian aesthetic tradition. It also reflects its history as a cultural crossroads and the designer’s intuitively forward-facing approach. The collections created in partnership with Zara are all broadly informed by an approach defined by Sándor as “East Meets West”.

ZARA X NANUSHKA MENSWEAR

Tailored jackets are crafted to afford free movement and create a relaxed and subtly oversized silhouette. These are mix-and-matchable with roomy pleated trousers as well as cropped bermudas and a more straight-leg trouser: versatility and tactility are key. A strongly defined and bold-shouldered woolen topcoat with peak lapels is punctuated with an embossed stud on leather tab at each cuff. This metal-touched leather accent runs across the collection, from the strapping on a fisherman inspired bucket hat to belts and strapping on drawstring day bags.

ZARA X NANUSHKA JEWELRY

Sándor’s jewelry collection is both highly appealing in itself, but serves as an aesthetic waystation to connect the menswear and homewares in this groundbreaking collaboration. The designer’s fascination with organic forms and the heritage of collective memory is reflected in a series of Bauhaus touched silver-plated metal pieces and a separate product family featuring jade-colored resin set in more silver-plated metal and sometimes etched with florals and other patterns derived from Hungarian and Eastern tradition. These meticulously crafted pieces include rings, earrings, ear cuffs, and necklaces.

ZARA X NANUSHKA HOMEWARES

The shared enthusiasm of the teams both at Zara Home and Nanushka for the directions defined by Sándor’s design is reflected in the scale and ambition of this homeware collaboration offer. It is also the first significant range of homewares that includes furniture designed under the Nanushka label. The collection features a vibrant kaleidoscope of surfaces and textures, including rich wood tones, cool marble, and the organic tactility of rattan.

The Zara x Nanushka collection will be available online at Zara.com and in selected Zara stores worldwide starting October 28th.
