Rabanne Campaign Spring/Summer 25

The duality of everyday and exquisite. For Spring/Summer 25, Rabanne pulses with a Parisian influence that transforms preppy standards – rugby tops, repp ties and striped boxer shorts – into silver-lined windbreakers, buckled utility skirts, and papery poplin tops that open at the back. Key pieces include a parachute blouson in washed chambray, a leather caban or men’s blazers given drawstring waists. Imagined by Julien Dossena, the effortlessness of daily dress through multi-layered looks that draw in the eye.

Spring/Summer 25 continues to push the duality of everyday and exquisite. Julien Dossena begins with short, multi-layered looks that draw in the eye. Frosted cable knits, foiled guipure lace and silvery jacquards that simultaneously suggest the industrial aspect of packaging and the lustre of the future. The shades of mint, rose, lilac and baby blue that bridge candy and clinical. The Parisian influence that transforms preppy standards – rugby tops, repp ties and striped boxer shorts – into silver-lined windbreakers, buckled utility skirts, and papery poplin tops that open at the back. Amidst these special pieces, the effortlessness of daily dress: a parachute blouson in washed chambray, a leather caban or men’s blazers given drawstring waists. An ample black jacket with reflective sequin lapels appears like a box peeled open, revealing a studded armour-like apron layer and kilt worn over a crisp white shirt.

From contained to released, lingerie and apron dresses graze and grace the body amidst increasingly sumptuous fabrications that lead to silhouettes assembled from elaborately embroidered geometric panels set between delicate chain and diaphanous mousseline. Looks then reintroduce the colourful stripes, only now there are also fine sheaths of tulle patterned with floating embroideries, accentuating the interplay of casual and decadent.Embedded in the splendour of surface treatments and the development of silhouettes is an iterative process – a creative exercise where every element is being reimagined to different, inspired outcomes.

With Rabanne Campaign Spring/Summer 25 collection, Rabanne will unveil the Artisan Editions, transforming its iconic 1969 assemblage bags like never before. True to the pursuit of material experimentation, the metal discs that originated from butcher aprons have been meticulously reimagined through three exceptional collaborations with Arthus-Bertrand in medal-making, Astier de Villatte in ceramics and Venini in blown glass. Respected for bridging traditional techniques and signature contemporary design, each Maison welcomed the invitation to apply their expertise to this time- and labour-intensive creation process.
