CFCL presented its runway show on Tuesday, October 7, the final day of the Spring/Summer 2026 Women’s Paris Fashion Week, at La Gaîté Lyrique in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. The collection redefines clothing as tools for daily life, combining transparency and soft, rounded silhouettes with a grounded portrayal of sophisticated women. Set in a venue reminiscent of a concert rehearsal, the performance featured the chamber ensemble TLF Trio, whose minimalist and fluid sounds created a relaxed and contemplative atmosphere.

CFCL SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 presents VOL.11 Collection Theme Knit-ware: Concreteness. The modest garments of CFCL, defined as tools for daily life, refrain from overtly expressing the creator’s inspirations. Instead, we commit with steady persistence to a singular purpose: creating clothing for contemporary life. Within the flow of everyday urban life, we aim to create a presence that can offer a quiet yet rich sense of awareness, one that allows us to notice the subtle shifts of the seasons, the depth of history around us, and the thoughtfulness of those nearby.

“We want to produce like a plant that produces a fruit and not to reproduce. We want to produce directly and not through interpretation.” wrote Jean Arp in 1944, articulating the founding principles of Concrete Art, a movement that continues to resonate deeply with us. Inspired by this sensibility, CFCL’s VOL.11 collection came into being. CFCL continues to cultivate a new form of Knit-ware that is tangible but not derivative, brought to life through materials reflecting a transparent and contemporary perspective.

SIGNATURE UPDATE, OVER WRAPED & SWELL DRESS. CFCL’s iconic POTTERY series is reimagined as translucent dresses, inspired by the smooth acrylic sculptures of artist Mariko Mori, and the intricate textures found in the works of glass artist Émile Gallé. OVERWRAPPED POTTERY (LOOK 2, 5, 8,16) is knitted seamlessly, with mint-colored recycled polyester on the inside and sheer nylon-polyester yarn on the outside. Soft hues are enveloped in transparent threads, emitting a faint glow. POTTERY SWELL (LOOK 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) blends three types of recycled polyester to create intricate relief textures and a layered translucency. Rich in elasticity, the dresses sway rhythmically with every step.

NATURAL ＆ CRAFT, DYEING MILAN / DYEING TC LUCENT, Items knitted from organically grown cotton cultivated in the Pandurna region of Madhya Pradesh, in central India, are hand-dyed at a workshop in Arimatsu, Aichi Prefecture. The process evokes the soft embrace of spring light in pale shades of pink and gray. DYEING MILAN (LOOK 18, 19) includes voluminous blousons and pants, knitted with cotton on the outside and recycled polyester on the inside. DYEING TC LUCENT (LOOK 20, 21, 22) uses an original fine-count yarn—cotton covered with recycled polyester—to create sheer dresses and coordinated sets that filter light. Each piece is hand-dyed by artisans, where the dyeing process itself becomes the motif, rather than reproducing specific patterns.

GRAPHIC, TERRACED DRESS, The only graphic motif of this collection is inspired by the interior textiles of Sophie Taeuber-Arp, wife of Jean Arp, and features a constructivist composition of stripes. Made of firm recycled polyester, the dress is knitted in an A-line silhouette with perforated sections that create dynamic stripes of varying widths. TERRACED DRESS (LOOK 24, 25) features seamless graphics in refreshing spring hues accented with neon yellow, imparting a lively and energetic feel. TERRACED LUCENT DRESS (LOOK26) is knitted continuously from a sheer top with transparent yarns to a two-tone striped bottom.

HAND BUILD, FLUFFY, The design process began with a knitted toile dress punctuated with small holes, through which tassels were intuitively threaded, much like sculpting with clay. Each tassel, individually knitted, is passed through pre-programmed openings to form motifs. Through multiple fittings, the balance was refined, with unused holes closed in the final data, completing the dress. Both tassels and base use yarns wrapped in metallic film, creating shimmer and movement. (LOOK 37, 38, 39, 40, 41)

For CFCL SS26 / Spring/Summer 2026 do with VEJA for COLLABORATION, The collaboration with VEJA, launched in pursuit of sneakers made with greater supply chain transparency, marks CFCL’s first initiative with a fellow B Corp-certified company. While preserving the comfort of knitwear, CFCL has elevated its casual concept into refined clothing that adapts to every occasion of urban life. With this collaboration, that creative direction extends to sneakers. The result is a blend of timeless and sporty design, reflecting the distinctive aesthetics and values of both VEJA and CFCL. The collaboration is scheduled for release in early spring 2026.
