Agne Kuzmickaite Presents My Day Collection at London Fashion
Introducing “My Day” — A New Collaborative Fashion Collection by Agne Kuzmickaite, Blending Everyday Wear with Creative Expression. Agne Kuzmickaites’ latest collection titled “My Day” emerges from the designers’ latest creative collaboration. Working with a local Lithuanian company known for their wide-ranging apparel production, from sleepwear and underwear to loungewear sets and beyond – this partnership allowed Agne Kuzmickaite to integrate distinctive, highly creative concepts into garments that span the full rhythm of a daily cycle.
“While developing the collection, I noticed that these pieces naturally followed the structure of an entire day,” Kuzmickaite explains. “From morning to night, the garments accompany the wearer through every moment. That is why the working title of the collection became “My Day.”
The visual identity of Agnes Kuzmickaite collection is defined by a black-and-white colour palette, emphasising clarity, contrast, and versatility. Within this minimalist framework, selected pieces incorporate the designer’s signature butterfly-logo pattern, subtly integrated into sleepwear and underwear to infuse these intimate garments with a recognisably personal touch. The majority of the main ready to wear pieces in this collection are crafted from EKO leather, a certified eco-friendly artificial material chosen for its lightness, comfort, and sustainability. This textile supports the collection’s ambition to blend aesthetic impact with responsible production.
To further reveal Agne Kuzmickaite my day collection’s concept, the presentation was accompanied by a specially created soundtrack. It begins with the familiar sound of a morning alarm—something each of us hears at the start of our day—and gradually unfolds into a composition built from everyday domestic sounds, mirroring the natural rhythm of daily life. This auditory dimension reinforces the idea that the collection embodies the entire arc of a day. Several artistic directions shape the collection. One continues Agne Kuzmickaite’s ongoing exploration of the use of ribbons within her pieces – here, ribbons are adorned with the designers’ signature name and butterfly logo. The ribbons create a material that is then transformed into monumental silhouettes, including sculptural dress-like forms that merge craftsmanship with conceptual fashion.
Building on the folk-inspired themes of Kuzmickaites’ previous work, the designer also created accessories inspired by traditional folk coronets. These pieces extend the cultural narrative of the earlier collections, enriching the new looks with symbolic, heritage-rooted elements.
“My Day” intertwines functional everyday garments with expressive artistic statements, offering a collection that is both wearable and imaginative—an entire day embodied in fashion.
