Inspired by the vivid, transformative work of German Neo-Expressionist master Anselm Kiefer, “Bloomfield of Debris” transcends the alchemy of ruin into a rebellious aesthetic that reconstructs poetry from a broken order. The collection’s palette shifts from muted sage green to burnt crimson, settling into breathable earth tones. Meanwhile, experimental materials—plaster-coated canvas, burnt-out denim, intricate handmade lace, and sculptural 3D knitwear—evoke tension, erosion, and rebirth. Across four narrative chapters, deconstructed outerwear conceived as “spiritual armor” and flowing, textured gowns express a sensory exploration of destruction, transformation, and rebirth.
