Ferrari Fall/Winter 2026 / FW26 at Milan Fashion Week entitled SKINS I AM IN

Skin is the membrane that connects us to the world: the sentient surface that extends and moulds itself over the entire body and dresses it. It is our way of touching and being touched, the primary tool for experiencing humanity and transforming it into knowledge. It is beneath the skin that our most intimate thoughts and passions symbolically lie. It is upon the skin that we physically design our appearance, giving ourselves a livery—a second skin—through what we choose to wear, and adding further liveries in the form of the spaces we inhabit and the worlds we construct. Liveries that define and protect, like the surface of a vehicle or a marker of identity. At the core of everything, however, remains feeling, and it begins with the skin, because it is on the skin that it is most profound.

The Ferrari FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 Runway Collection stems from this reflection. Continuing his quest for concision, and having reached the tenth show, Creative Director Rocco Iannone explores a dimension made of empathy, connection, and plurality. He dresses bodies, imagining garments that, like ideal second skins, transform nudity into coverage while inspiring poise and attitude.

Materials and shapes range from the impalpable lightness of underwear and the draping of underpinnings to the soft muscularity of padded duchesse; from the sturdiness of leather to dry tailoring wools, and the liquidity of cupro. Lines follow the body, magnifying and enhancing it. Rhythmic patterns on knits imitate scarifications, creating a play of solids and voids. The project, substantiated by a palette that explores nude tones and their many shades, is contained within a long, vertical silhouette. Everything is designed to expand the body’s features, connecting clothing and physicality: heels are wedged into the natural curve of the foot, while soft bags are held in place by piercings.

The vision comes to life in an enveloping environment, suspended in a dimension of physical and mental well-being, in which water is a central presence: a link between self-care and the possibility of change, a fluid that unites the self and others, and transforms. It is the quest for a plural dimension: the opportunity granted to those who embody the Ferrari ethos to choose not one, but many skins to be in.
