NIU Fall/Winter 2026 – 2027 / FW26 during Milan Fashion Week entitled Tierra de Mujeres

Between red earth and Mexico’s vibrant light, between the rhythm of work and the breath of freedom, Niù writes a new chapter in its journey. Tierra de Mujeres is the name of the NIU FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 – 2027 collection: a tribute to the quiet strength and instinctive grace of women. A narrative that moves across landscapes and identities, transforming cultural impressions into texture, color and shape. Two territories guide the inspiration: Jalisco and Oaxaca. Two complementary spirits, two distinct ways of inhabiting femininity.

On one side, Jalisco, among agave fields and golden sunsets, embodies the woman who builds, who works, who finds beauty in restraint. Her aesthetic is grounded, tangible. Tailored suits in menswear-inspired wools and herringbones converse with printed silks and jacquard knitwear, striking a natural balance between structure and softness. The cuts are clean, the volumes measured, enriched by details inspired by the charro world: elongated jackets, sashes tied at the waist, embroidery that echoes traditional costumes. The palette grows intense and deep – Ike, Galla, Copal – narrating an authentic, elegant femininity rooted firmly in the present. Lupita is her face: dynamic, modern, constantly in motion. She approaches everyday life with determination and ease, balancing commitments and passions with a style that feels spontaneous yet intentional.

Still continue with details of NIU FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026 – 2027, On the other side lies Oaxaca with its purple, blue and green-washed streets, fragrant courtyards and vibrant markets: representing the woman who dreams, imagines and turns every gesture into color. Here the collection comes alive with floral-printed viscose, soft chenille illuminated by touches of lurex, and alpaca infused with the faded and pastel tones of local cement tiles. Deep black, inspired by the pottery of San Bartolo Coyotepec, alternates with shades such as Paloma, Guacamole and Granate, creating a vivid dialogue between craftsmanship and expressive freedom. Long skirts flow freely, and layering becomes a language of its own: shirts and sweaters overlap in an effortless play of contrasts, shaping a feminine, instinct-driven styling approach. Catalina is its interpreter: she lives through emotion and intuition, dances between patterns and textures, and dares without asking permission.

Tierra de Mujeres unfolds along this dual trajectory, faithful to Niù’s DNA: a grounded woman and a visionary one, one who builds and one who imagines. Two creative tensions that complete and mirror each other. Each fabric tells of a gesture, each print preserves a shared memory suspended between past and present. Craft techniques evoke distant traditions while speaking a contemporary language defined by freedom, layering and exploration. A journey between roots and visions. A land to be worn.
