Where Light Meets Substance: Antonio Riva Milano Unveils Ninfee . Antonio Riva Milano has unveiled Ninfee (Water Lilies), a collection conceived as an homage to the ethereal atmosphere of Claude Monet’s lily ponds and the poetic essence of Impressionism. This inspiration is translated into a textile language where light, motion, and shimmering reflections take physical form, turning every garment into a profound visual and sensory experience.

Details of Antonio Riva Milano FW26 / Fall/Winter 2026, The fabrics are designed as responsive, ever-changing surfaces: sheer layers, veils, and overlays evoke the depth of water, while liquid organza, satin, and mikado lend the gowns an almost painterly quality. The color palette echoes Impressionist gardens, alternating between violet and wisteria, sharp and deep greens, and intense blues, reaching into black cherry pink and marron glacé in a dynamic harmony of shifting hues. Intricate embroidery, weightless prints, and textured applications mirror the details of Impressionist masterpieces, adding vibration and depth. Meanwhile, the soft, layered silhouettes embrace the body in a constant dialogue between structure and fluidity.

The collection was presented on Wednesday, February 25th, at the Illulian boutique in Via Manzoni 41, Milan. Illulian is a historic Milanese institution specializing in high-end rugs and textile surfaces—a true expression of savoir-faire that blends craftsmanship, research, and contemporary design. This event marked the first step of a prestigious synergy between Antonio Riva Milano and Illulian; over the coming months, the two brands will collaborate on a special project built on shared values of quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a singular creative vision.
