Valentin Yudashkin evolves with the times and reflects upon modern life and the luxury goods consumption market changes seen under the influence of current circumstances through strong images and silhouettes.
This yearValentin Yudashkin presents his thoughts and visionsinspired by the 60s with the new collection based entirely on the two timeless colors: black and white. This restriction in color made it possible to devote more resources, time and craftsmanshiptowards shapes and silhouettes.
In this season’s short presentation video the fashion house presents the image of a young girl who dreams of becoming a designer. In the morning, she works at a factory, and in the evening, she studies, trying to realize her dream.
Mr. Yudashkin associates the turbulent present with the 60’s in USSR when the harsh realities and bright dreams of the future helped people to live and hope. This enthusiasm of the Soviet youth working in factories and watching the legendary French moviesinspired Mr. Yudashkin to create the powerful images.
The current Valentin Yudashkin collection is dedicated to Mr. Yudashkin’s teacher, mentor and friend as well as the godfather of the Valentin Yudashkin fashion house – the great and the only Pierre Cardin. Thanks to him, many years ago Valentin Yudashkin entered the beautiful world of Haute Couture.
