The graphic and colorful inspiration of this new Spring-Summer 2022 collection finds its source in a book on « Block prints of Rajasthan » found in the rich library that once belonged to Mister Emanuel Ungaro.
It is a walk in a dream jungle with Asian scents in which the bamboos, by their graphic rhythm, form a filter in this plant setting.
The patterns of « cashmere » palms, floral and animal prints borrowed from Mughal miniatures are associated with the Maison’s logo and enrich the universe of materials and colors with their strong potential for exotic evocation.
The Brand’s codes and iconic pieces, such as the work jacket that Mister Ungaro wore in his Creative Studio, are recomposed and translated into this universe where the emphasis is on work jackets, fluid printed shirts, wide and comfortable sliding pants : a sportswear where technical and high-performance materials bring functionality and modernity.
The range of colors travels from shades of pastels (pink, purple, sky, ecru) to deep tones of midnight blue or black and white for the evening. Khaki and greens combined with terracotta tones illustrate an elegant casual with an exotic touch.
Sports shoes and sneakers bring this urban and active anchoring to complete the silhouette.
These are all inspiration materials and colors for a city man who cultivates his artistic fiber and which illustrate an art of living filled with creativity, colors, relaxation and a certain nonconformism.
