A totally upcycled collection made with the raw material of memories and feelings but without any nostalgia. The past creates the only real foundation for the future. The cozy feeling of the Riviera Romagnola hotels, formal men’s suits forgotten and never collected from laundries, the heavy curtains faded by a bright summer sun, the protective feeling of a slightly oxidized metallic patina, the excitement of little altar boys before mass. My ‘wrong’ posture used as the structure of broken and rebuilt jackets and shirts.
BIO
“Crack” is the fundamental concept of brand. It means destruction: cracking something useless and give it a new life. What his grandpa taught he was to look at things from a different perspective before throwing them away. Each season is inspired by his memories. Good and bad, but without nostalgia. His experiences and the past used as the foundation to built the future create a frame. They determine the style and the influences of each collection. Every time he show a new concept, that nonetheless speaks his language is something almost therapeutical, it makes him feel liberated. And since he’s a very calm person, apparently, it’s through his performances that he protest and shout to the world how he really feel.
