Courreges Fall Winter 2022 – 2023 at Paris Men’s Fashion Week

Courrèges – Men’s and Women’s Pre-collection Fall-Winter 2022

 A club exterior, at night, in Paris. Waiting, arriving, leaving, sharing a moment with a stranger, meeting someone, laughing, exchanging, kissing; it is often during these in-between moments that nights are made and unmade. For this Fall-Winter 2022 pre-collection, Nicolas Di Felice continues to explore one of his favourite themes: the night and all that it invites. This celebration of youth culture, which is at the heart of the House’s artistic direction, took shape last September at the first edition of the «Courrèges Club», in a parking lot in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Following the success of this first edition, the House will renew these club nights on a regular basis – a way of showing its desire to become a true player of this cultural scene. For the artistic director of the House, it is simply «a joy to continue to see the clothes we propose worn in this universe that is so dear to me.”

A spontaneity that is found in the design of the pre-collection: a variation on the same themes developed in the first three collections, embellished with some new details such as the swallow shape, an iconic of the House, used for the first time. Two new fabrics emblematic of the night appear this season, a stretch satin and a varnished jersey declined in autumnal shades such as this heritage red, which first appeared in 1967. Work on a mixed wardrobe was also inaugurated with jackets in woolen skins, the coach jacket or wool fur coats. Exchanging moments or exchanging clothes, both celebrate a form of light fluidity dear to Nicolas Di Felice.

The cast of this pre-collection includes Nicolas Di Felice’s favourite faces but also dear friends, all important figures of the night world: Bad Gyal, DJs VTSS and Sene (also composer of all original Courrèges music), choreographer Miles Greenberg, stylist and party runner Allegria Torassa, in charge of the guest list of the first «Courrèges Club». We find the model Lily Standefer (voice of the campaign of the first perfume of Nicolas Di Felice «Slogan») and her boyfriend Felix Ward, light designer of the first Courrèges Club.

Just over a year after Nicolas Di Felice took over as artistic director, Courrèges has developed a singular language and look that are already gathering a real community. This pre-collection pays tribute to that community – with sincerity and gratitude.
