Krizia Fall Winter 2022 – 2023 at Milan Fashion Week

KRIZIA Fall Winter 22 is a journey into the exasperation of contrasts respecting the Maison’s DNA values. A hyper-feminine collection of transparencies and sweaters with maxi-macule cut-out, alternates with the hyper-masculine silhouettes of oversized jackets, coats, and the iconic tuxedo shirts in starched poplin.
Material level contrasts, where the softness of alpaca and bouclé wool is compared with micro plissé structured bustier. The iconic plissé changes its aspect and structure. The special wool bonding technique has created unusual garments like jackets and coats.
The Fall Winter Collection is filled by a constant transaction from natural materials, such as “ripped” mohair and wool muslin, to more industrial elements like coated fabrics and brushed steel details, up to jewels in colored bristles inspired by the metal brushes of a milling machine.
A color palette that recalls this atmosphere going through shades of concrete, metal, and wood, then cut by more dreamlike touches such as sage green, pink and aquamarine. A Collection built by a strong brutalism element, by solid volumes and materials left bare in their real essence.
