Cukovy Fall Winter 2022 – 2023 at Milan Fashion Week, one of Seven Hungarian designers present their latest collection at the Milano Fashion Week
The creativity and uniqueness of the Hungarian designers will be showcased once again at Milano Fashion Week. In cooperation with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency selected four emerging brands – ABODI, THEFOUR, Elysian and KATA SZEGEDI – whose latest collection will be presented during the fashion week within the framework of a collective fashion show. Yet it is not only on the runways where you will find the exclusive pieces of Hungarian designers, seven designers – KATA SZEGEDI, NINI, ZSIGMOND, THEFOUR, ABODI, CUKOVY and Elysian – will present their pieces at the Fashion Hub. The unique artworks carry the Central-European heritage but are designed with contemporary patterns, an exciting eclectic combination.
This year seven talented Hungarian designers had the unique opportunity to attend the mentoring program of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency. Due to the program, they will showcase their collections live on the runways of the Italian capital city during Milano Fashion Week. Besides the collective fashion show, selected items of some Hungarian designers will also be presented at the Fashion Hub.
Four Hungarian designers, ABODI, THEFOUR, Elysian and KATA SZEGEDI will showcase their collections as part of the Budapest Select Collective fashion show on the 26th of February 2022, each of them will present 10-12 exclusive compositions of their Autumn/Winter collections of 2022/23. All the final outfits with accessories for this special event will be prepared with the help of the stylist Paolo Turina. Besides the shows, seven Hungarian designers – ZSIGMOND, NINI, CUKOVY, ABODI, THEFOUR, Elysian and KATA SZEGEDI.
The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency established the umbrella brand Budapest Select for the purpose to showcase the pieces of Hungarian designers abroad. The aim of the brand is to gain a higher international recognition through a coherent communication, while retaining the uniqueness and identity of each brand. Thanks to the umbrella brand, collective participation had a stronger impact on the international market and audience, than for those who participate international events alone.

According to the strategic cooperation between the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI), the leading fashion chamber is actively helping in the development of Hungarian designers. Due to that, the international mentoring program by HFDA was launched with the purpose of helping the Hungarian brands to get the sufficient knowledge and business education to build a successful brand and to support them in entering the international market. To achieve this, the attendance at Milano Fashion Week is a unique opportunity, which is now the 7th occasion when HFDA is participating with its mentees.
The mentoring program includes B2B and personal meetings, workshops and factory visits, which helps the participants to engage with the field of product development, branding, communication and business organization.
