Alessandro Vigilante Fall Winter 2022 -2023 Collection present ACT III – ORGASMIC BODY

ACT III – EROTIC BODY Fall Winter 2022 – 2023 by Alessandro Vigilante confirms the representation of a quite challenging freedom: bodies in motion are dressed and designed by pure energy and intense gestures, in a formal synthesis of sensuality and rigor.

Rekindles the senses with a choreographic, elegant and passionate style.

Harmony, attention to details, transparencies and vivid colors. A score full of meanings, with several levels of interpretation, as many as have ever been spent on that degree of involvement of the human essence, which reveals new parts of the self and potential of a body inhabited by eroticism.

The main source of inspiration: the contemporary movements of a famous choreography by Jiri Kylián, with the music of the Adagio 23 K.488 and the Andante of the concert no. 21, K.467 by Mozart. This is how the great sense of balance and fluidity are confirmed, they are present in the colors and cuts of ATTO III and in the decisive lines of the collection which is strength but at the same time a delicate call to the free expression of pleasure.

Eroticism can be glimpsed from the gaze placed on the bodies: it becomes transparency and curiosity, an absolutely personal mystery, which finds its refined essence in the involvement of the sexual act.

The selection of colors therefore populates a neutral imagery of brown and light pink shades that recall nude skin tones on one side and bold and scenographic colors on the other, ranging from watermelon, pistachio and lobster. The latex effect in the hypershiny of neon colors is reconfirmed as an element of fascination for the brand.

The palette is completed by bright, extremely sophisticated red and black, curtain and graphic design. Black is a clear stance that runs through the body in the inevitable sartorial-inspired cut-outs, characterizations of audacity and a new style label.

The silhouette is dressed in skin-colored corsets, which adhere to softly sensual bodies: the intuition of the contrast is played on the outware, enriched with sticks that tighten the waist, creating an hourglass figure, whose line is marked by accentuated hips and shoulders.

The strength of the brand is in the blazers and trousers male tailored models, that this season are reinforced by corset-like wool-viscose structures, symbol of a confident, consciously harmonious body.

The iconic Pina Bausch oversize jacket has been reconfirmed but renewed with rounded slits at the cuffs.
Hourglass shaped outerwear is added to the maxi-coat, oversized, straight, ankle-length, with symmetrical rounded side slits.

The jacket is shortened, it becomes a bra. Otherwise it is still cut short just below the breast, but enriched with a detachable basque detail: the reference is still to the femininity of the corset and to the dance figures, characterized by a masculine touch that supports and lifts.

Skirts are shortened and the slit is double, the leggings-bustier pants are almost a tights in their adherence.

The knitwear is proposed in bouclé yarn and in wool-stretch, and is also reinforced by boning that highlights the silhouette tightening the waist and emphasizing shoulders and hips.

Second skin knitwear in eco viscose or technical nylon is reconfirmed as a symbol of the brand through cut-out effects inspired by corsetry, while framing necklines and backs with graphic designs.

The body is still a “must” in the collection: the straps are thin, smooth, points of contact through a sexy and evocative bi-materiality. Dresses are supported by corsets and underwire, in two-tone or monochromatic transparencies that ignite desire, and are traversed by a seductive gaze effect.

The selection of materials is signed by Manteco, a company at the forefront in the research and production of sustainable and recyclable fabrics: from technical jersey, in perfect adherence to sculpted bodies, to the iconic cloth – used for coats, blazers and skirts – accompanied by needle-punched bouclé and wool-alpaca, both shaggy look and maki check. There is also light neoprene for unlined garments.
