CELINE KWAN will have its first-ever fashion presentation in Paris, presenting a collection of clothing that sought to translate feelings about being stuck inside during lockdown. Inspired by futuristic ‘space-age’ aesthetic from classic films such as Woody Allen’s ‘Sleeper’ and Stanley Kubrick’s ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, CELINE KWAN’s AW22 series aims to produce transformative clothing that is functional in unexpected and humorous ways. After a series of experimentation, Celine discovered a fun inflatable product called ‘banana air bed’.
