In honor of the Pride 2022 this June, Borsalino proudly launches a dedicated collection of hats and caps that celebrates the freedom of expression and personal identity, the second Borsalino Pride series after the first successful 2021 premiere.
The Borsalino Pride 2022 capsule reinterprets the brand’s legendary hand-woven Panama hats, global emblems of craftsmanship and style, with a colorful rainbow theme, elegant optical patterns, an exclusive grosgrain ribbon hatband and dedicated Pride 2022 hatbox.
Iconic baseball caps, symbolic of a street universe, sport plexiglass visors, special rainbow straps and are embellished with a rainbow star-pin representing energy and freedom.
Since the Haeres Equita fund acquisition, the Maison has been dedicated to developing a new concept of beauty and joie de vivre that showcases diversity as an important element for boundless possibilities of personal expression.
Borsalino supports the “Tessere le Identità”, a local Alessandria LGBTQI+ association founded in 2013, who promote educational and solidarity initiatives aimed at spreading anti-discrimination and a culture of respect and hospitality towards individual differences.
Kicking off the celebrations, the historic Borsalino Alessandria boutique in collaboration with “Tessere le Identità” will unveil the capsule with a special May 25th presentation, as well as featuring dedicated Pride 2022 windows.
To highlight and capture imagery of the collection series, renowned Project Fashion Director Manos Samartzis has creatively styled an editorially-led shooting.
