(Milan, Italy) Thursday 22nd September 2022, Casadei presented the Spring Summer 2023 collection. Alongside the collection, a digital display allowed attendees to enter the Casadei 3.0 world in Decentraland, a virtual space with a limited edition NFT.

With the new Spring Summer 2023 collection, Casadei launches itself into the future. This Made in Italy shoe specialist looks to tomorrow, the same eyes that pay maniacal attention to quality and finishes, follow the company roots that have been based in San Mauro Pascoli since 1958.

In the same place where the author of ‘Il fanciullino’ was born, the imagination of Cesare Casadei blossoms. He is the creative director of Casadei, the second generation of a radical and independent family business and the curator of the highest footwear engineering between heritage and innovation.

Sincere words and actions, a labour of love, as well as a place of sharing and a mix between sophisticated craftsmanship and advanced technology. Tradition and experimentation, sexiness, psychedelia and avant-garde virtuosity come together in the Casadei summer. This opens with a psychedelic heel that is reminiscent of the curves of the famous chair by Danish designer Verner Panton: Casadei’s spring-summer 2023 inaugurates Elodie, a “landscape-shoe” among pumps, sandals and slingbacks characterized by an unprecedented handwritten 3D logo.

And on the tenth anniversary of its birth, the Blade heel continues to evolve in that perpetual motion that is typical of Casadei.

Casadei enters the NFT world and inaugurates Casadei 3.0 on the Decentraland virtual space, with the help of Cesare’s daughter, Arianna Casadei and Another-1, an innovative web3 platform for luxury fashion.

Imagination generates innovation and the Blade 10th anniversary, after having started the celebrations with the fashion shoot signed by Ellen Von Unwerth at the beginning of the year, leads Casadei into web3. Just like a sequel, the parallelism of the Blade Runner blockbuster from which the iconic heel takes its name continues, bringing light to Project Nayom1. It is a real all-round collaborative project between Casadei and Another1, creatively directed by the shoe designer Ricardo Cook and supported by the artist CGI Alessandra Vuillermin (also known as @Hardmetacore).
