Weinsanto Spring Summer 2023 collection, Weinsanto gathers together his close set of artistic talented friends, reinterpreting each creator’s DNA and transforming them with the Weinsanto spirit. The scene is their fin de soiree, heading home from an afters Parisian style.
He pays homage to each of the characters with wittiness, flamboyance and a hint of drama. A manifesto of the family spirit of this generation, sharing and having fun with their creativity, the message is to enjoy the journey together, “Don’t take yourself seriously.”
His iconic muses and girlfriends join in this imaginative night of folly. A new lighter colour palette signals a change of mood. Still working his best sellers, the bomber jacket, jeans, sweats and dungarees all mixed with extravagant couture pieces come together in a colour gradient of skin tones. They are complemented by a dash of upbeat orange, green and yellow.
This season’s humoristic print representing a party goer sipping their drink by Alix Stemmelin, in a motif appears to be disappearing into the textile.
For the weinsanto Spring Summer 2023 collection, Weinsanto uses higher quality, eco responsible fabrics, such as cotton from Supima for the jean jersey pieces and shirts and also deadstock from LVMH Nona Source.
Weinsanto is constantly experimenting with couture techniques, mixing them with music hall costume techniques for extravagance. A destroyed “Tête de Lit” headpiece adorns a black tulle gown. A wedding dress of drape creates a sensation of divinity.
The headpiece, with an inbuilt helmet in support of 90 meters of fabric, is a giant fan that ripples and waves like exotic fish fins. A pleated corset cage dress is embellished with a beating heart that explodes with love.
A headpiece for Charles de Vilmorin, captures his poetry embodying his ideas escaping him. Sculpted from welded metal, caressing his delicate features, all embroidered in feathers and rhinestone.
Inspired by his sister and baby nephew Weinsanto has made a new version of his dungarees, with snaps that transform the look into a dress or shorts. Adjusting your clothes for functionality or change of mood, some pockets snap open and shut for a new mother to breastfeed.
For the accessories of Weinsanto Spring Summer 2023, the new pochette style bag is worn like a glove. Deadstock chain mail is employed for the jewelery, each piece meticulously crafted by hand by Weinsanto’s former assistant Bjorn Backes. Set with coloured Swarovski crystals the most complex took a full day to make.
The looks are paired with shoes from Bimba y Lola and Doc Martens. His family of creators who inspired him all share one thing in common: Love for le “Vivre-ensemble”.

ABOUT WEINSANTO
Victor Weinsanto launched his namesake brand in 2020 after two years with Jean Paul Gaultier, where savoir-faire, craftsmanship, and freedom were ingrained in his creative process. A former professional dancer, Victor brings his love of performing arts into fun, colourful and cabaret-themed presentations. He finds inspiration in live entertainment and art as well as history, architecture, and music. The models for Weinsanto shows are often muses and friends from different creative backgrounds such as dancing, acting, and cabaret. Weinsanto’s stimulating, festive, and innovative aesthetic has caught the eye of major fashion press such as Vogue, WWD, Numero and W Magazine, as well as the attention of icons such as Madonna for whom he has created custom looks.
Weinsanto is a favorite of major stylists, and his creations have appeared in the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris from which a friendship was born with actress Philippine Leroy Beaulieu (who plays Emily’s sassy boss and who walked the designer’s FW22 runway). Since October 2021, Weinsanto has been invited to show at Arab Fashion Week, and he was shortlisted for the LMVH Prize in 2022.
Adrian Joffe and Dover Street Market support Weinsanto’s commercial development, and the brand is currently stocked by some of the best stores in the world including all Dover Street Market locations, H Lorenzo in LA, Maria Luisa in Doha, Penelope in Brescia, and Selfridges in London. Victor is also committed to a fashion industry that is sustainable and as such works with a selection of natural materials like pineapple-fiber leather for bags. He collaborated with the leading Web3 circular fashion ecosystem LABLACO for the creation of phygital NFTs in his SS22 collection (exclusively available at Dover Street Little Market in Paris).
