Reamerei Spring Summer 2023, The main theme of the new PLANARIA collection is the idea of union.

In a time of doubts and autocratic rhetoric, in which the lack of generational dialogue seems to create insurmountable gaps, we believe in the importance of imagining and giving life to a different future.

What we want to convey is a proposal, only a personal stimulus: opening up to the idea of the future with a renewed curiosity, like when, at the end of a toxic relationship, we are able to trust someone else, and gradually knowledge begins.

By identifying us as non-binary people, the garments have been conceived without following any idea of binarism or distinction, but considering gender as performative, and bodies as elements in constant change, in search of their own space to germinate outside of any imposition.

The inspiration for the project Reamerei Spring Summer 2023 came from observing planarians (their hermaphroditism and their curious regenerative capacity) and especially thanks to some poems by Alda Merini in which fear of abandonment, desire for change and sexual drive are experienced viscerally.

Regenerated denim, knitted cotton and velvet are again the main materials of the collection.

The light-colored denim is worked with contrasting stitching and fringing, and gives life to diverging shapes thanks to the puffs and to the unexpected lengths. An interpretation of the urban code that looks at the primordial forms of nature.

The multicolored knitwear represents the more playful side of the SS23 collection: the garments and accessories tell of an absurd sensual transformation, decorated balaclavas and sleeves protect the body and simulate an unearthly floral genesis.

The garments in black velvet redesign the body giving it a powerful and mysterious sensuality, and represent the nocturnal side of the collection.
