System Studios Fall Winter 2023 – 2024, Handsome’s System Studios to present its collection offline for the first time in three years in Paris, France.

System Studios, the global edition of Handsome’s casual brands System and System Homme, showcased System Studios Fall Winter 2023 collection at “3537” (35 Rue des Francs Bourgeois, 75004 Paris) located in Paris, France on January 19th.

Handsome has been firmly establishing itself as a global brand known beyond Korea by participating in Paris Fashion Week, one of the world’s four major fashion weeks, and presenting its collection every season since 2019. This year, it will be unveiling its collection offline for the first in three years since it began making digital presentations along with the emergence of COVID. It is thus paying closer attention to how the global market will respond.

System Studios Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection will present clothing under the concept of “Returning Legacy,” looking back at the 32 years of its history and refocusing on the essence of the brand. The collection will reveal the brand’s unique heritage that has been built over time while also suggesting its way forward in order to further solidify its position as a global brand and enhance its brand status in the fashion market.

System Studios Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection was inspired by River of Shadows, an essay about the life of the British photographer Eadweard Muybridge. In particular, the collection visually reproduces “The Horse in Motion,” a work of Muybridge that plainly captured the sense of speed and tension felt from rapid movements, and reinterprets classic items with a bold and dynamic modern touch to create three-dimensional images.

At the show, various shadows produced by passing light into the projector will be directed to overlap with the models walking along the runway, and Muybridge’s motion picture will be imaged to offer the audience an immersive experience.
