SSHEENA Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection at Milan Fashion Week

Invisibility or Chameleonism? Garments that reveal or hide? These are the questions coming from the eternal movie “The invisible woman” (1983).

This bipolarity is shown in the new “I can’t sleep again” Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection. On one side browns and grey colours camouflage with the urban environments. On the other side, bright orange and electric blue attracts.

Details of Ssheena Fall Winter 2023 – 2024 collection – In this scenery, the leopard and hyena appears everywhere. Maybe it’s the crumbs of Hansel and Gretel’s path? Maybe are they the first details that appear? Or maybe are they an hymn to the punk origins of the name Ssheena? Who knows. Too many questions in a world of uncertainties. What we know for sure is that Ssheena’s core concepts are always present. Shoulders are always the sculptural protagonists of formal wear.

Knitwear wrapped the body in a soft armour. Lingerie used as a punk detail. In this season the key word is CUTS. Very high-cut silhouettes slim the figures. Pieces could be detached from garments through a zipper or a belt, so that the garment seems cut. Belts are always present, but rather than tightening the body they release it. So, we have finally found an answer to the initial questions. For those who has been more attentive, the answer was already present in the title.

Ssheena collections are always proud. Fierce. A little bit romantic, (IN)comprehensibly sensual. Each collection is changeable, but at the same time eternal. Ssheena doesn’t hide, it adapts and imposes itself. Ssheena certainly doesn’t hide itself. With these assumptions, Who ever wanted an invisibility cloak?
