OUR LEGACY Spring 2024 Collection present Snow in April during MFW

The OUR LEGACY Spring 24 collection, ”Snow in April,” is inspired by the unpredictable and indecisive nature of early spring weather. Seemingly warm days suddenly turn into colder reminders of winter. The collection is in uenced by this phenomenon and, in some cases, replicates its aspects.

The garments of OUR LEGACY Spring 2024 Collection are designed to give the impression of insulation while maintaining a lightness. Dry and dusty colors, golden brown, muddy lavender, carbon, and pink cast usually reminiscent of autumn but which occasionally appear during Swedish spring remind themselves throughout the collection. Additionally, there are graphics present in the collection referencing horror movies which are treated along the same conceptual line.

In the outerwear category, there are garments that serve as a mirage, mimicking the look of heavier outerwear while intentionally designed for warmer temperatures. Much of the outerwear exhibit modularity which makes it suitable for unpredictability.

This same duality is evident in the knitwear pieces which feature muted colors and patterns, reminiscent of wintery garments, are now knitted in a light, breathable hemp yarn. The suiting category is designed to be airy, primarily constructed in linen, but intended to evoke the idea of heavy wool suits in both texture and color.

The denim category of OUR LEGACY Spring 2024 Collection features new shapes including the Trebble and Fatigue cut as well as our in-house developed ”chain-twill”. The cord pieces have been dyed in a pigment dye which makes the color evolve and fade over time.

”I always liked the idea of watching horror movies during summer daylight to soften its intent. The mixing of the  lm’s visuals and sunlight causing it to be faded and overexposed has inspired the prints present in the collection.” – Cristopher Nying, Creative Director
