An atypical fashion show that deconstructs codes commercial fashion
On June 24, 2023, in Le Havre, along an industrial basin, against a background of radical techno, nothing will be for sale, because the theme is that of growth and necessary transformation that we must address in the face of the hyper consumption clothes and trends.
For Maroussia Rebecq the parade is thought of as a march, a parade or even a demonstration; it is a pretext to create looks which themselves are a pretext for social criticism: showing “ordinary” people, “mouths” who move conventional and advertising beauty towards an inner, powerful and subversive beauty.
It’s about telling the story of the times and deconstructing the systems that exploit us, and building a more organic model, raising awareness of the challenges of transition, valuing our differences.
The project restores the spirit of inclusive values to better build the world of tomorrow.
