CFCL & ASICS Sneaker Collaboration, CFCL just launched the “GEL-LYTE III CM1.95” sneaker in collaboration with ASICS, which was first introduced at the CFCL presentation during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2024.

This minimally designed sneaker is extremely lightweight and emits only 1.95 kg/CO2-e of greenhouse gas (GHG).

A detailed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) was conducted on all processes from material procurement to disposal, including not only the sneaker itself but also the packaging box, resulting in the worldʼs lowest GHG emissions among sneakers currently on the market with figures publicly disclosed.

As a result, compared to the companyʼs signature sneakers, this sneakerʼs GHG emissions were reduced by approximately 80% from the procurement to manufacturing processes, and by approximately 75% in the transportation process.
