Maison Mihara Yasuhiro FW24 / Fall/Winter 2024-2025 at Paris Men Fashion Week entitled “WOBBLER PART FOUR”

“I wonder if I can keep up with the rapid changes of our time.I am far from keeping up, I am merely stumbling along. As my vision for the future grows faint, even my footing is hazy.

Though my soul stirs to the old-time music playing on the radio late at night, filling me with the freedom bestowed to an aging ballerina. I wonder how long I’m destined to stumble—” MIHARA YASUHIRO

Approaches of intentional processing, illusion and fabrication—

Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO’s sense of humor continues to expand with each season.

A collection which hints at the present world through its chaotic world of the night, it awaits the arrival of light in an age gone astray.

The ‘Big Silhouette’ series introduced in SS24 is developed further into the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro FW24 collection, Numerous elegant blousons and coats open under both arms like launching in both men’s and women’s styles.

What came to MIHARA’s mind were his experiences and melancholic memories of receiving hand-me-down clothes from his older brother, and the odd aspect of children being dressed in adult clothing.

The mysterious/unexplained stumbling of these gigantic garments, convey the ironic metaphor that “adults will never grow up”.

The radiance emanating from the nocturnal world was one of MIHARA’s sources of inspiration for Maison Mihara Yasuhiro FW24 collection. It features lustrous glossy faux-enameled leather, brilliant women’s knits made of dazzling tape-yarn are also introduced, deepening the chaotic mood of night.

The main collaboration Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Fall/Winter 2024-2025 of this season has been the real leather items with “ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH” Made in Japan leather brand by ISAMU KATAYAMA. There will be five men’ s styles and four women’s styles, available in all black.
