Playing on words and playing with shape, exploring the house’s love of uniform, she takes the monochromatic approach to this season’s looks for Sacai FW24 Men and Sacai Fall 2024 Women. This simplifying tactic draws the eye to shape – a new round silhouette, accentuated with extra volume in the sleeves, alongside a new elongated vertical hybrid, made of long strips, twisted into a new vertical proposition and sometimes accentuated by zippers.

Alongside this play on form, uni – forms are recontextualized with garment dyed pastel colors that suggest a gentleness and softness other than the garments original intent. Knitwear patterns take on a new life in woven fabrications and with sequins, then cut and spliced into a new vertical form. New shapes for men are born of ultra baggy pants and bomber jacket / shirt hybrids, the former pushed up to make a new silhouette for Sacai FW24 Men.

For Sacai FW24 Men and Sacai Fall 2024 Women Collection, Sacai collaboration with The artist and pioneer of modern street skating Mark Gonzales lends his artwork through a series of badges, applied to his long beloved Spiewak G8 jacket, to create a new dual collab for sacai, continuing their history of partnerships with the most storied utility brands.J.M.
