Ziggy Chen FW24 at Paris Men Fashion Week

Ziggy Chen FW24 / Fall Winter 2024 – 2025 at Paris Men Fashion Week entitled DECADENTIMENT. Ziggy Chen, as usual, plays with words to create a new meaning; Sentiment and Decadence merge to give life to the FW24 title.

Decadence is poetic, liberated from negative meaning, connected to an image of nature that appropriates the urban. Visions of green vines climbing up damp bricks, moss, and white walls gradually peeling away after being washed by the autumn rain, silently releasing energy in its corner of the world.

The colour palette of Ziggy Chen FW24 DECADENTIMENT starts here: moss green, intense lime, grey-blue and red.

The shapes evoke images of pedestrians hurrying along streets of the recent past. Coats fluttering in the wind. A sentimental time capsule takes us back to the atmosphere of the 80s, a pivotal decade for the suggestions of DECADENTIMENT. The silhouettes of Ziggy Chen Fall Winter 2024 – 2025 expertly blend those years, details taken from military uniforms, and ethnic accents from Southeast Asia. Ziggy Chen’s savoir-faire incorporates these inspirations making them his own, and returning them through garments with an impeccable and bold cut, rich in details that are worth discovering.

The Ziggy Chen Fall Winter 2024 – 2025 DECADENTIMENT materials are the designer’s iconic fabrics: wool, cotton and linen. To which are added substantial knit cotton fabrics and rarely seen denim materials. Moreover, the useage of corduroy and velvet adds different levels of depth to the entire collection.

Ziggy Chen FW24 is an organic evolution of past collections which presents a complete range of garments for both menswearcand womenswear. Integrating refined tailoring techniques and chiselling iconic Ziggy Chen designs, DECADENTIMENT reveals new styles with fresh, contemporary silhouettes.
