Victoria Beckham Campaign SS24 – As seen by Juergen Teller

Spanning over a decade, Juergen Teller’s friendship with Victoria Beckham started in 1998 when the renowned German fashion photographer shot the now iconic portraits of the newly engaged Beckhams for Vogue magazine. At the heart of it all, a shared creative vision which has led to numerous collaborations over the years.

First on Marc Jacob’s infamous ‘paper bag’ campaign in 2008, which the pair recreated for Victoria’s own ten-year brand anniversary campaign in 2018, then again more recently when Juergen captured models backstage at the designer’s Spring Summer 2023 show, her first in Paris.

Today, he returns to bring us the Victoria Beckham Campaign Spring Summer 2024 collection, as seen through his inimitable lens. Sought after for his spontaneous, straightforward approach and keen eye for detail, his ability to create compelling visual narratives brings each silhouette to life in new and unexpected ways.

“I take everything very seriously, but I do it in a playful way. I think I really understand what a designer wants to express with their clothes. And I have a way of making it alive.”

Celebrating the value of human existence, his most recent solo exhibition at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris entitled, ‘i need to live’ offered an unprecedented overview of a thrillingly eclectic career — a blurring of distinctions between genres, high and low, private and public, personal and commercial work — and was reprised at the Triennale Milano to critical acclaim.
