Nanushka Fall/Winter 2024 / FW24 collection at Paris Fashion
Nanushka Fall/Winter 2024, ‘Reframing’, is an exploration of the transformative power of fabric manipulation in enhancing the beauty of understated silhouettes.
Rooted in Nanushka’s Hungarian heritage, this season embraces traditional agricultural wear, introducing a faux sheep hide featured across both menswear and womenswear, alongside an A-line bonded shearling jacket reminiscent of a shepherd’s coat.
Details of Nanushka Fall/Winter 2024 Felted wool is used to create a luxurious floor-length coat with peaked lapel detailing, and our iconic Ado jacket serves as the starting point for a deconstructed biker jumpsuit. In menswear, faux Racka sheepskin is shaped into a coat that hangs to the floor, and used to accent the collar of a rounded bomber jacket.
Studs frame the edges of garments, and our Kopjafa symbols are quilted into a washed tech velvet jacket.
Central to the Nanushka FW24 collection are crochet, contrast binding, and stud details that frame contemporary pieces.
Luxurious felted wool is draped into a studded cape, while contrast binding adds texture to a slip satin dress. A patchwork dress featuring crochet detailing showcases the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and detail.
Exploring Hungarian heritage and rural living, hyper-textured pieces are crafted from compact boucle and super fleece. A faux fur mimics Racka sheepskin in a nod to traditional Hungarian shepherd attire, and brushed alpaca yarn is woven into a textured cable knit, printed with a graffiti smudge pattern.
The influence of 90s minimalism is evident in a boxy tweed boucle suit with regenerated leather details and snap fastenings, offering a contemporary twist on classic fabrics. A tailored romper is crafted from sculpted glass poplin, a subtly textured fabric that elevates minimalistic shapes for Nanushka FW24
Menswear continues to explore genderfluid details, including soft, draped shapes, which are contrasted with double breasted jackets and sharp, peaked lapel details. Sporty details, such as zippers and funnel necks, create a sense of effortless versatility. Upcycled OKOBOR™ is used to create a seersucker smocked fabric, creating body-hugging silhouettes.
‘Reframing’ exemplifies Nanushka’s ongoing commitment to creating garments defined by functional yet beautiful detailing and innovative textures. The Nanushka Fall/Winter 2024 collection seamlessly blends the artistry of fabric manipulation with elevated design aesthetics.
