AMI at Suzhou China, Relive Fall-Winter 2024 Fashion Show. Yesterday, on April 10th at 6:30 PM CST (GMT +8), in Suzhou, China, AMI presented a repeat show of Menswear and Womenswear collections for Fall-Winter 2024.
“Once again, AMI and I have been welcomed in China with open arms and warmth. This show marked a milestone: it was our second show in China (after Shanghai in October 2019). THE CONCEPT & THE SET
AMI presented its Fall-Winter 2024 collection Fashion Show in Suzhou China, during the sunset, adding poetry to the solemn atmosphere. Deliberately kept minimalist, the set design emphases the historical Xiangmen Wall, where the show took place.
The AMI show location in Suzhou China was a protected site in the ancient heart of the city, in the former craftsmen neighborhood. Renowned for its rich history and intricate canal network, Suzhou is often referred to as the “Chinese Venice.” The city boasts numerous classical Chinese gardens, several of which are recognized with UNESCO World Cultural Heritage status.
THE CASTING
The casting of Relive AMI Fall-Winter 2024 at Suzhou China Fashion Show included models, such as Jiang Ruiqi, Pan Haowen and Jie Zheng, who shared the runway with up-and-coming faces, among them Chen Juija, Wu Guoqiang, and Chen Xu.
AMI’S FRIENDS
Traveling from China and Asia’s main cities, friends of the House, have attended the show. Guests included cinema and music personalities; among them were, Bonnie Chen, Kara Wai, Daddi Tang, Jerry Yan, Peng Wan, Cheng’en Yu, Tony Yu, Cecilia Boey, together with familiar faces including Mika, Henry Lau and Qin Li, to name just a few.
THE COLLECTION
On the podium of the repeat show, AMI presented emblematic pieces of its Fall-Winter 2024 menswear, womenswear and accessory collections. Originally presented last January in Paris, during Fashion Week, the Fall-Winter 2024 captures the essence of nighttime Parisian elegance. It emphasizes AMI’s distinguished wardrobe with outstanding depth, expressed through patterns, textures, movements and shapes. The collection boldly transitions by embracing the elegance and sophistication that characterize the Maison.
