Dilara Findikoglu will launch her first ever main collection campaign for AW23.

For the occasion, Mariacarla Boscono plays Dilara’s ultimate heroine, who has overcome many obstacles in her life and emerged victorious.

“I had Joan of Arc in mind when I started putting this collection together. On the set, we felt that Joan of Arc’s presence was embodied by Mariacarla and, with these photos, I hope to have freed her soul and our bodies from the territory of men”

“Following the protests in Iran last year and after the death of Mahsa Amini, I felt the urge to do a collection in conjunction to the protest; wanting to raise my voice as a part of this revolution about claiming our bodies back.”

“When shooting our campaign, which is also our first ever main collection campaign, I wanted to create something that would embody the emotion that the audience felt during the show. I wanted it to portray the ultimate Dilara heroine who has been through many obstacles throughout life and come out with victory.”

“I had Joan of Arc in mind when this collection was being pieced together. On set, we felt like the presence of Joan of Arc was embodied by Maria Carla and with these pictures I’m hoping I have freed her soul and freed our bodies from men’s territory.”

Mariacarla Boscono will wear a look from the collection tomorrow at the AMFAR 2024 charity gala in Cannes to celebrate the launch of the campaign.
