Details of Area Pre-Fall 2024 / PF24 :
This season, we explore a dynamic interplay of contrasts, blending ultra-feminine and romantic motifs with bold biker influences. While celebrating delicate signatures like hearts and flowers, we also venture into a grittier realm, infusing our designs with hardcore elements like biker hats, chaps, leather perfectos, and vintage denim washes. LASER CUT LEATHER
Ruffles, lace, and broderie anglaise served as our inspiration for leather development this season. We began by translating heart cut-out motifs into intricate lace-like artworks, which we laser-cut onto bonded leather in striking black and red hues. These designs adorned our perfecto motorcycle jackets and tiered ruffle pieces, including voluminous skirts and A-line gowns, creating a captivating contrast between the toughness of leather and the softness of ruffles and broderie lace.
DRAPED CARNATION ROSETTE
Inspired by the delicate ruffle-like petals of carnations, we translated this floral motif into hand-cut and draped rosette corsages. Crafted from layers of raw-cut wool and satin, these corsages were adorned with dainty heart-cut feathers for an added touch of elegance. Serving as detachable brooches, they embellished razor-sharp tuxedo tailoring crafted in black and raspberry wool, as well as light-washed denim.
FLOWER HEART PRINT
In our print exploration, we found inspiration in the iconic vintage floral designs by Ken Scott. Pairing these florals with blown-up graphic hearts, evoking vintage French design, we achieved a striking contrast. This fusion resulted in a vibrant reinterpretation of the 80s house attitude, infused with a modern twist. Crafted into body-hugging lycra and printed denim, these prints breathe new life into classic styles.
INTARSIA HEART
Our signature heart motif undergoes a playful transformation, appearing as heart intarsias in multicolored leather, seamlessly linked together to form a column halter dress. Additionally, in denim, multiple denim tones are intertwined to create repeating heart patterns, featured on wide-leg jeans, crop tops, and hot pants.
BRASS HEART RUCHED JERSEY
This season, we introduce a lightweight jersey fabric, expertly ruched to create body-hugging silhouettes elegantly draped around brass heart detailing, presenting a fresh approach to party dressing. The bold brass hearts are further translated into hardcore gold chain jewelry and belts, adding a touch of edgy sophistication to the collection.
CRYSTAL HEART BOW
We’ve reimagined our signature crystal bow into hand-cut crystal heart bow embellishments, offering versatility as they can be worn as a necklace or a brooch. These exquisite details add a touch of elegance to our signature separates, including distressed cashmere knits, Ponte jersey essentials, and suiting cocktail dresses.
HEART CRYSTAL EMBROIDERY
For our eveningwear, teardrop crystals are meticulously crafted into heart repeat embroidery, adorning a stunning crystal strapless dress, tube top, and biker leggings. To ensure comfort without compromising style, we’ve combined these exquisite embellishments with compact stretch Ponte jersey fabric at the rear.
