AMI Alexandre Mattiussi SS25 / Spring Summer 2025 at Paris Fashion Week
Today, on June 20th at 8:30 pm CET, AMI Alexandre Mattiussi presented its menswear and womenswear Spring Summer 2025 collections in a disused building at Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.
Last season, AMI explored Paris at dawn on a very cold, winter morning. For Spring Summer 2025 / SS25, I’ve drawn inspiration from another cherished moment in my beloved city: the end of a sunny day, when the light fades just before sunset. I designed the collection in a very simple and spontaneous way, while refocusing on the essentials of AMI’s wardrobe. This is the mood of the period, capturing the carefree yet elegant essence of a summer in Paris.

THE VENUE
AMI Spring Summer 2025 fashion show took place in Paris in an empty Haussmann-style building, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, close to the River Seine and some of the city’s most outstanding monuments. Awaiting renovation, the former bank headquarters feature vast, bare spaces sharply contrasting with its ornate stucco decorations.
THE CONCEPT & SET
Alexandre Mattiussi, in a small break with tradition, chose to present AMI Spring Summer 2025 / SS25 collection indoors, instead of the usual outdoor venues. The large, unoccupied spaces almost had an industrial feel, but the long, single row of white-clothed chairs stretching across them created a homelike atmosphere — like the covered furniture of a summer house reopening for the season. Guests sat quite close to the runway, allowing for a detailed look at the collection as the models walked by.
THE CASTING
In keeping with every Parisian show of AMI, the casting was a deliberate mix of top models, like Vittoria Ceretti, Audrey Marney, Mona Tougaard, Aymeline Valade, Malick Bodian, Clément Chabernaud, Jeanne Cadieu and Leon Dame, and up-and-coming faces such as Martin Miller and Ajus Samuel.
AMI’S FRIENDS
VIPs and friends of the House, gathered in Paris to show their support for AMI and Alexandre Mattiussi. The exclusive guest list included Emma Roberts, Issa Rae, Joe Locke, House Ambassador Wooshik Choi, K-pop star Jihyo, Juliette Binoche, Ross Lynch, Olivia Dean, Selma Blair, Chen Jin, Mika, Simone Baldasseroni, Arlo Parks and Tony Yu. Early and enthusiastic supporters like Lou Doillon, Catherine Deneuve and Leila Bekhti were also in attendance.
THE COLLECTION
AMI Alexandre Mattiussi SS25 / Spring Summer 2025 collection perfects AMI’s signature style with elegance, sophistication, and pragmatism. Silhouettes boldly contrast the rigor of tailored pieces with the playful ease of casual ones, featuring light, quirky details and surprising proportions. The meticulous selection of materials and textures adds an extra dimension.
THE BAGS
AMI introduces new designs without logo: soft tote bags in a sophisticated color range, and Le Carrousel bag, symbolized by its wide shoulder straps with exceptional proportions.
THE ACCESSORIES
A rich range of accessories further elevates the collection. Footwear proposes natural, supple shapes, providing comfort and lightness. It features a flat, babouche-style model in supple leather, wedge heels in colors that match the collection’s palette. Jewelry nostalgically reminds of an elegant past: gold or silver bracelets, curb chains, creoles and chains bring a precious vintage touch.
