Bordeaux, a new addition, embodies richness and depth, akin to the unfolding layers of enlightenment. Black represents the abyss from which illumination emerges. Cropped metal breastplate jackets, saree gowns, exaggerated mini dresses, and newer forms of trousers, including our version of Sharara trousers, come together in this season. The ancient Aari embroidery technique, with its infinity loops and hooked needle, often incorporates Zari Zardosi embroidery, using metallic threads to add shine to the finished piece. The couturier’s signature sculpting art meanders throughout the collection.
