Palomo Spain SS25 during New York Fashion Week

Palomo Spain SS25 / Spring/Summer 2025 during New York Fashion Week entitled All of Heaven’s Parties on September 7th, 2024 (New York, NY).

Palomo Spain presented the Spring/Summer 2025 collection at Fourth Universalist Society in New York City. Titled “All of Heaven’s Parties”, for this collection Alejandro Gómez Palomo continues his exploration into the intricate interplay between human sexuality and rationality, delving deeper into the realm of sexual expression as an art form and way of living.

Following his Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, which delved into the theme of sexual encounters within floral gardens, he now embarks on a journey to investigate the sinful conception of lust, desire and attraction within a heavenly space. All Of Heaven’s Parties is an imaginary construction that sets parties in heaven as a conversation opener on why everything that is associated with our pleasure and instinct is deemed sinful. “Why are emotions so intrinsic to our humanity — like lust, desire, and attraction — condemned with the threat of hell? If these feelings are woven into the fabric of our nature, why must they be denied in the pursuit of heaven? How can something so inherently human be deemed sinful?”, said Alejandro Gómez Palomo.

While finding inspiration for Palomo Spain SS25 / Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Alejandro uncovered the captivating work of Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki, who skillfully blends the aesthetic of kinbaku-bi bondage art with sensual imagery of flowers. Through Araki’s artistry, Alejandro discovers the realization he has been seeking: the ability to transcend mere animal instinct and elevate sex into a meaningful and intentional form of artistic expression. Furthermore, he merges these concepts with those of Helmut Newton, drawing inspiration from Newton’s iconic style and delving into the glamorous and sensual atmosphere of the 1920s to explore silhouettes, characters, and narratives.

Palomo Spain SS25 collection features different textures with the re-introduction of classic fabrics seen throughout Palomo Spain collections including denim, taffeta, and silk organza. Alejandro utilizes several techniques that are rooted closely in his Spanish heritage such as the silk fringes and handmade embroidery. When it comes to the silhouettes, the Spring/Summer 2025 looks are characterized by micro shorts and dress shirts with oversized cuffs and collars. The color palette is centered around white and black base colors with hints of tobacco brown, orange, purple, and denim blue carefully layered with delicate embroidered fringes, oversized sequins, and Swarovski crystals.

Elevating Palomo’s new summer dream, designer Alejandro G Palomo opted to emphasize the importance of a beauty look well aligned with the main concepts of his newest work. The make-up artist, Marcelo Gutierrez, led the beauty creative with the support of the MAC cosmetics teams and worked on delicate yet striking skins with feathered accents for Palomo Spain SS25.

Hair Styling, under the leadership of Laurent Philippon sponsored by Redken / Cutler, conceived polished and refined hairstyles that contrasted the colorful ostrich feathers wigs, a creation by Tolentino Hats, one of Palomo’s longtime collaborators for Palomo Spring/Summer 2025.
