We are showing this season at our new private salon, 828 5th Avenue. Having begun my career in fashion not far away from the Ralph Lauren mansion, a few blocks north, this is almost a homecoming. It is nearly impossible for our past not to impact our work as we look to the future, and those mid 90s days were certainly formative. American sportswear at its finest. True experiential luxury. Elegance that pairs ease with refinement.

We lead with fabrications in every collection, and Adam Lippes Spring/Summer 2025 is no different. Hand loomed Japanese 14 oz denim, washed using fine river stones to convey a softness without losing structure. Organic striped cotton twill is from one of the last cotton mills in the USA using sustainably farmed long staple cotton.

We continue this season with Italian plongé leather. Its softness in a cropped jacket is juxtaposed with hand cast gold ‘fencing’ buttons, adding a sharpness to this tactile and jubilant textile. We continue our exploration in leather with draping and twisting, a technique throughout Adam Lippes Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 collection, drawing on the feeling of freedom and escape. Bouclé yarns, seen in wovens and knits, are made from mulberry silk, which is the finest form of silk in the world. Charmeuse and silk crepe are from Taroni, while our satin fabrics are double faced for the contradiction of structure and softness.

The color palette of Adam Lippes Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 is calm – calmness in chaos. Sunbleached tones of pale blue, lilac, faded yellow, creams and sand. We will always be known for polished day wear, but our intent with this collection was to give that polish some much needed ease for Spring. Silhouettes are meant to convey movement and comfort, to wit dropped shoulders on tailoring, airier volumes, draping and hand twisting, sleek and sensual bias cuts, slightly rumpled linen suiting, washed and worn fabrics, throw over tunics, and dresses barely tied with (seemingly) simple strings. The collection’s textures include embroidered hand cut mother of pearl teardrops and Swarovski pearls, inspired by American Arts and Craft shell art of the early 1900s.

Embroidered broderie anglaise on a crisp oversized cotton poplin blouse and tailored silk crepe shirtdress follow the lines of the body and are all cut and stitched by hand.
