Del Core Spring/Summer 2025 at Milan Fashion Week

Del Core Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 at Milan Fashion Week entitled A day at the lab .

This is the first installment of a pure and concise prêt-a-porter collection. It is essentially Del Core – in the narrative twists it follows and the intricate precision of the pieces – with a taut and graphic expression. My aim is to define a wardrobe, fostering architectural constructions, fluid forms, and an idea of ease inspired by the women I admire and their research within the natural world.

The woman I have in mind this season is a scientist. We follow her in A Day At The Lab. She begins her morning in the sanctuary of her home, an architecture of knowledge she would never leave without her stack of essays and scientific papers, at least one or two of the eight books she is simultaneously reading and notes with her favorite pen under her arm, wrapped in a cocooning trenchcoat. She is an admired lecturer, focused on her work just like the mathematical exactitude of the suits she dons, of the aprons and dresses she wears. After teaching, she puts on her long latex gloves and finally makes it to her true home: Her laboratory. Amidst the hum of delicate machinery, intricate neural networks are delicately probed, their mysteries unraveling beneath the gentle touch of her skilled hands. Paired with a translucent coat, she moves with precision, her attire reflecting her connection to the natural world, the textures of her dresses getting molecular. Ever her shoes and bags get a protective cover. Throughout her journey, she remains an enigma, a figure of fascination and admiration. Her wardrobe, a testament to the harmonious fusion of science and elegance, inspires hope for a symbiotic future where the languages of the neutral world are enciphered and possibilities are limitless.

There are no couture pieces in Del Core Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 collection. So far, we had a smattering of them interwoven into the runway shows, which allowed me to define Del Core’s narrative.

In January, I will stage the first full-scale presentation of Del Core couture in Paris. Opting for this new setup opens a wider room of expression, in which unbridled bursts of fantasy will run parallel to a sense of pragmatism – in my own personal way.
