Carven Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 at Paris Fashion Week on 28th September 2024.

“This season, we reveal Carven SS25 collection inside the house of Carven itself, on the Rond Point des Champs Elysées. The apartment remains largely untouched since Madame Carven began designing in this building in 1945.

For me, there is something very personal in the act of designing and creating clothes. It is our daily activity: a dialogue between the studio, the atelier and the Carven woman. This is why I wanted to celebrate this collection in the building in which it is conceived: a salon environment where people can feel as connected to our process as they do the result.

Carven Spring/Summer 2025 is a study of dressing and undressing, the unravelling of layers and underpinnings that represent the intimate space between a woman and her wardrobe. There is a sense of freedom and nonchalance. Silhouettes emerge from the quotidian, marrying heritage with lightness and a fluidity between night and day.

As always, the touch of the human hand is essential in my work. It affects how the clothes behave as the model walks through the apartment’s many rooms. The entrance, the salon, bedroom, dressing room, kitchen – each space informs different elements of her day, mirroring the rituals of life and living.”
