Christian Wijnants Spring/Summer 2025 / SS25 at Paris Fashion Week, Back to the Essence: A Collection Rooted in Serenity
Christian Wijnants Spring/Summer 2025 Collection embraces serenity and invites you to exhale, listen, and find calm in simplicity. Soothing sounds inspired by nature and self-reflection create a peaceful, personal experience.
This season, Christian focuses on new shapes and volumes. Soft tailoring with flowing scarves whilst blending form-fitting designs with the ease of a loose men’s shirt. Christian Wijnants SS25 collection reimagines house codes by combining corsetry with elongated silhouettes and casual outerwear. Architectural sleeveless bombers are cut in Japanese cotton coated organdy. Tops are tailored and skirts are short. The muted palette highlights a shape study in linen, poplin and striped organza. Essential summer wardrobe staples, elegant yet modern pieces.
The crochet looks this season draw inspiration from the intriguing work of textile artist Mrinalini Mukherjee. Known for using unconventional materials in sculpting, her use of macramé cords is reimagined by Christian into 3-dimensional, sculptural crochet and macramé pieces—bringing an artful and tactile dimension to Christian Wijnants Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
The presence of headscarves completes the looks with essence of grace, strength, and individuality. This summer collection is an invitation to slow down and find calmness as we navigate through current times of chaos and constant noise. Simplicity becomes a refuge—a space where you can reconnect with yourself and embrace a more mindful state of being.
