AMBUSH® Book Release on March 2025 Titled Ambush. YOON and VERBAL of AMBUSH® Announce Upcoming Rizzoli Book.

Tokyo, Japan –– YOON and VERBAL of AMBUSH® announce their upcoming Rizzoli book titled AMBUSH, which explores the brand’s archive spanning from its inception in 2008 through 2024.

The release marks the first large-format book on AMBUSH®, one of the most influential ready-to-wear and jewelry brands to come out of Japan in the last two decades. Offering a deep dive into the brand’s teeming archive, the intuitively engineered monograph stands as a defining work for lovers of fashion, as well as streetwear enthusiasts and tech-driven lifestyle culture.

Along with a comprehensive collection of past AMBUSH® jewelry and ready-to-wear collection photos, the book contains contributions from longtime collaborators and friends of the brand including but not limited to: Chitose Abe, Kid Cudi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, G-Dragon, KAWS, Kim Jones, Kunichi Nomura, Jun Takahashi, and Pharrell Williams. AMBUSH also includes a foreword by Adrian Bianco of sabukaru online, followed by an interview with YOON and VERBAL that traces the brand’s journey from its early days to its current position at the forefront of innovation and forward-thinking design.

AMBUSH releases March 4th, 2025 worldwide, and is now available for preorder via Rizzoli for a retail price of $65 USD, and wherever fine illustrated books are sold. AMBUSH will also be available at AMBUSH® WORKSHOPS in Japan in early March.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS: YOON is the co-founder and creative director of AMBUSH®. YOON was appointed as Dior Men’s Jewelry Director in 2018, and as Nike Global Women’s Curator in 2023. VERBAL is the co-founder of AMBUSH® and a music producer.

In 2018, AMBUSH® debuted at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo. In the same year, Kim Jones named YOON as Jewelry Director for Dior Men, with the first creations for the house appearing in the S/S 2019 collection in Paris. In 2022, AMBUSH® presented the brand’s first runway presentation at Milan Fashion Week and launched their proprietary metaverse SILVER FCTRY. AMBUSH® opened its first Tokyo flagship store in September 2016; the second store in Tokyo opened in 2019.
