As part of the MAD event and in celebration of the BEL PRIZE 2024,Hotel Louis unveiled on November 28th, a collaboration with the luxurious THE HOTEL Brussels: a 100 x 100 cm silk scarf, made in Italy, depicting a hotel room with its iconic view of Brussels. The vibrant colors, a signature of the brand, blend seamlessly with the elegance and refinement of The Hotel, creating an exceptional piece.

Louis Appelmans, true to his expertise in colors and patterns, transforms each scarf into a unique, playful, and poetic illustration. The silk scarves come in three sizes, all featuring a discreet buttoning system inspired by classic shirts, allowing for easy assembly. This system offers maximum flexibility and opens the door to countless possibilities for use and combinations, redefining the traditional object. These pieces can be worn fluidly and versatilely, both as fashion accessories or as full garments. Each scarf is hand-illustrated by Louis Appelmans and then meticulously printed on 100% Italian silk twill, a fabric renowned for its durability and sheen. The creation process, from hand-drawing to digital printing, guarantees optimal quality and perfect fidelity to the original designs. Each scarf becomes a work of art in itself, a unique piece with a rich story and strong visual identity.

About the designer, Louis Appelmans is a designer with an impressive trajectory. A graduate of the prestigious La Cambre School of Design, he distinguished himself early on as a finalist in internationally renowned competitions such as Sangue Novo at Lisbon Fashion Week and International Talent Support in Italy. His career has been marked by collaborations with major fashion houses such as Kenzo, Acne Studios, Y/Project, where he worked as a designer, as well as luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Loewe, and Dior, where he worked as a couturier.
