MTLstudio FW25 at Milan Men’s Fashion Week

MTLstudio FW25 / Fall Winter 2025-2026 at Milan Men’s Fashion Week entitled “CIRCOLO”

Revisiting the places of his youth, the designer seeks to tell the story of a past life where the only thing that mattered was meeting up without a plan in a place where you knew you’d always find company. We are at the “Circolo da Lucio” to present the MTLstudio Fall/Winter 2025 collection, a place where time seems to stand still and the only thing that matters is feeling at home, playing cards, billiards, and foosball.

Inspiration of MTLstudio FW25 / Fall Winter 2025-2026 draws once again from the atmosphere of the small town, in a nostalgic yearning for childhood memories that revisit both the sacred and profane traditions typical of rural settings. The lines of the garments are deconstructed and raw, with unfinished hems, embroidery left hanging loosely, and oversized volumes in traditional fabrics like wool, contrasted with the elegance of pleated dresses. Layering, quirky combinations, and a disillusioned style evoke the humble, everyday clothing of the past, worn down and disordered by play and labor.

The colors of MTLstudio FW25 used reflect natural tones in various shades of beige, blue, and gray, with occasional bursts of multicolors in hues of pink, burgundy, and military green.

Born in Modena in 1989 Matteo Lamandini attended first the Accademia Europea in Bologna and then Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. He has worked as Menswear Assistant at MSGM and Marni and then won “Designer for Tomorrow” in 2014 and finalist of “Who Is On Next” Uomo 2017. From there he decided to start his eponymous collection from the SS16 and also designed a capsule collection for Tommy Hilfiger that was presented during Berlin Fashion Week. Matteo Lamandini collections mixing classic menswear and street style icons are becoming uniforms for the new generation of Italian trappers and musicians: MTLstudio jackets shirt and overalls have been chosen from artists like Ghali, J-Ax and Salmo, just to name a few.
