“There’s something in the fog…. ” There’s a certain poeticness to the fog, bringing an obscure state between a dream and reality, an illusion about the future and beyond.

Ernest W. Baker FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 Collection takes inspiration from the supernatural horror film “The Fog” directed by John Carpenter. We wanted to capture this amalgamation between reality and fiction, so palpable in the atmosphere of our film, imagery and collection. Finding ourselves immersed in the fog, we were able to sit within it finding a sense of quiet and calm, letting go of the chaos of the moment, and doing what we most enjoy doing, creating and focusing on the craft. Working with local artisans, many of whom have been in the industry for generations, are invaluable to us, and have come to be respected collaborators. Shining a light on the trades and skills of the people we work with, allowing freedom to wield their expertise and wisdom has validated their process.

Shooting our videos and lookbooks in thoughtfully curated, forgotten spaces, this year in a 50’s abandoned movie hall, has allowed us to bring visibility, new life and timelessness to these dark enigmatic spaces. As with our collaborators, exposing the beauty of these sites brings an awareness and appreciation to their value and stories, and validates our philosophy and who we are as a brand.

This Ernest W. Baker Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 collection dives deeper into what we have been developing, adding and refining new layers onto a unified aesthetic. Sharp tailoring, hand embellished garments, all the fundamental elements that have been present since the brand’s origins, continue to elevate and evolve.

Details Ernest W. Baker FW25, Iconic fabrics for the brand; Pinstripe, check, herringbone and houndstooth are patched and reworked together to create a twist to sartorial classics. The rain motif is seen studded onto suede jackets and trousers an element that has been present with the brand for several years. Elements of passion, romanticism, and emotion are brought to the Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 collection, where we felt more than ever, everyone involved in our process has put their hearts and passion into the collection.
