EGONLAB unveils its new collection for the Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 season, titled “S4LEM”, a manifesto where fashion echoes the concerns of our time. A true exploration of contemporary tensions, this collection plunges us into the world of witch hunts, reinterpreted in a radical and creative way. Through mystical silhouettes, “S4LEM” embodies a form of stylistic resistance.
Drawing inspiration from the historical Salem trials, the brand delves into a powerful metaphor to denounce the exclusionary mechanisms that affect our society today. For EGONLAB, witch hunts are now represented by the attacks on small community and marginalized voices. Struggles for human rights become materials for creation. In echo to its first collection, L’APPEL, the brand, staying true to its commitment, calls for unity and collective resistance.
Egonlab FW25 collection plays with materials, shapes, and textures to convey this theme of struggle and resilience. A wet-effect decorates the bottoms of denim pants, achieved through an induction technique, reminiscent of melted candle wax—an allegory for the marks left by hardships. Structured shoulders, emblematic of EGONLAB, are complemented by bold raglan sleeves. This evolution in tailoring creates unique volumes that adapt to individual body shapes. Staying true to its DNA, EGONLAB celebrates diversity and individuality in all forms.
S4LEM unfolds in narrative prints and meticulous cuts that capture the very fragility of our existence. Dented, cracked buttons, inspired by the lunar surface, symbolize the passage of time, reinforcing the idea of a living garment, like a second skin. The belts, key elements of Egonlab FW25/ Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 collection, are placed in unexpected ways—on the sleeves or the hems of pants—altering the shapes and volumes, creating a hybrid fluidity between the garment and the accessory. Tracksuits and puffer jackets undergo a transformation with the concept of “fusion,” combining two jackets joined by a central zipper, creating a single piece.
Egonlab Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 collection also draws from mystical and esoteric elements. Bat flowers, also known as witch flowers, reinterpreted in leather fringes, are applied to reworked workwear jackets or sculptural dresses. Inspired by ancient rituals, these flowers embody resistance and the reclamation of one’s own destiny. Thanks to complex tailoring, the petals of the flowers create unexpected volumes on the pieces. This technical exploration reaches its zenith in collars inspired by origami, where precise, angular folds recall the fragility and complexity of human movement.
The color palette ranges from brown, black, and purple, enhanced by touches of powder pink, light beige, and blood red. Here, the symbol of the Ouroboros serpent finds its place on key pieces of the collection, carrying a powerful message of rebirth. Greyhounds surrounded by flames evoke the Sabbat ritual, a tradition where women witches would gather to support each other and practice their occult arts. These mystical symbols are reminders of the ongoing fight for freedom and inclusion.
Another key innovation in the collection lies in the integration of hair as a raw material to create accessories, particularly pearl necklaces inspired by mystical symbols. This choice symbolizes the intimate bond between the human being and the garment, reinforcing the idea that our accessories carry our history: the wearer becomes their own adornment.
Egonlab FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 fashion show took place in a space draped in black at the Institut du Monde Arabe, an iconic venue for a collection that intertwines tradition and modernity. The music, crafted by EGONLAB MUSIC and its director Pablo Bozzi, conveys the story of the collection: crackling fire sounds and old radio static plunge into a disordered sonic chaos, gradually evolving into a more audible melody, culminating in a structured finale symbolizing our voices rising and being heard.
EGONLAB x Zadig&Voltaire: An Exclusive Capsule, A Fusion of Styles
This season, EGONLAB unveils an exclusive capsule in collaboration with Zadig&Voltaire. The result of a complex and meticulously crafted style exercise, this ephemeral collection blends EGONLAB’s creative innovation with the laid-back elegance of Zadig&Voltaire. The capsule includes leather tops and pants adorned with aged studs, creating a rock-inspired silhouette with esoteric undertones, echoing the S4LEM collection. Three iconic bags, reworked with eyelets and fringes, add an extra touch to this exclusive collection, which will be available at all Zadig&Voltaire flagship stores from September 2025.
