Kidsuper FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 at Paris Men’s Fashion Week
KidSuper’s Colm Dillane and Artist Daniel Wurtzel premiered a Surreal and Unearthly Collaboration at Paris Fashion Week Paris, France, January 25th 2025 — Colm Dillane, the maverick designer behind KidSuper, has never been one to color within the lines. Tonigth, he took his boundless creativity to new heights by partnering with renowned artist Daniel Wurtzel. Together, they unveiled From a Place I Have Never Been, a transcendent fusion of fashion and performance art, staged at the iconic Halle Charlie Parker in La Villette.
Known for his kinetic sculptures that bring air to life, Wurtzel’s ethereal artistry perfectly complements Dillane’s daring, kaleidoscopic vision. Together, the duo has created an immersive spectacle that blurs the boundaries between fashion, performance, and art. “Fashion and art are about creating worlds where people can dream,” Dillane said, adding that risk-taking has always been central to his creative ethos.
Dillane’s KidSuper has always been more than a clothing brand; it’s a living, breathing experiment in storytelling. For From a Place I Have Never Been, Dillane explores the thrill and vulnerability of stepping into the unknown. Inspired by his own fearless pursuit of uncharted territories, the collection delves into themes of discovery, risk, and transformation. “I like walking into the unknown—going to places I have never been, trying things I have never done, and fearlessly jumping into the unknown. The outcome is always uncertain—sometimes extraordinary, sometimes a lesson—but it’s always inspiring.” Dillane shared Wurtzel’s dynamic installations will play a pivotal role in visualizing this narrative, turning the runway into a stage where garments and air sculptures dance in unison. “Performative arts and fashion share a common thread: the ability to evoke emotion and tell stories through spectacle,” Wurtzel remarked. By weaving his ephemeral creations into Dillane’s show, the artist transforms the runway into a surreal space of wonder and introspection, inviting audiences to reimagine the possibilities of both mediums.
Dillane’s knack for collaboration is at the heart of KidSuper’s DNA, and this season is no exception. Alongside Wurtzel, Dillane also introduces exciting alliances on the runway:
A groundbreaking partnership with BAPE®, the legendary Japanese streetwear brand, under BAPE®’s pinnacle collaboration tier, The BAPE® COLLECTIVE. The first-of-its-kind co-creation, BAPE® by KidSuper, reimagines iconic BAPE® patterns and designs through KidSuper’s fearless lens. Select pieces from the collection will debut on the runway, marking BAPE®’s first-ever Paris Fashion Week appearance—a fusion of Harajuku, Brooklyn, and Paris. “As an early pioneer of double brands in Harajuku, we are thrilled to be pushing the boundaries of collaboration yet again.
Debuting on the runway, the BAPE® by KidSuper collection brings our iconic codes together to celebrate the ultimate superpower — fearless self-expression,” says BAPE® CEO Mahmoud el Salahy.
A capsule collection with WILDSIDE Yohji Yamamoto brings KidSuper’s signature playful irreverence to a line that balances Dillane’s bold creativity with WILDSIDE’s artistry. The collection features striking wool gabardine tailored pieces adorned with intricate embroidery, alongside graphic t-shirts and hoodies with dynamic, artful prints. This collaboration blends KidSuper’s vibrant storytelling with the sharpness that defines WILDSIDE, resulting in pieces that are as expressive as they are timeless. But the innovation doesn’t stop there. KidSuper’s collaborative ethos extends to spotlighting the ingenuity of its peers: a technical metamorphic coat that transforms into a hammock with HAMCUS, a tailored exercise in precision with Kody Phillips, a hand-crocheted jacket crafted by Brazilian artisans with PIET. Each piece is a testament to KidSuper’s commitment to celebrating the stories, techniques, and artistry of its collaborators.
The evening concluded with a stunning performance by singer Ekaterina Shelehova, whose ethereal voice perfectly echoed the show’s themes of vulnerability and transformation. “Shelehova’s performance was the emotional heartbeat of the show,” Dillane remarked.
“The best art doesn’t happen in isolation,” Dillane shared. “It’s born from a collective effort—a dialogue between different talents and perspectives.” This philosophy permeates the show, from the multi-disciplinary collaborations to the intricately crafted collection itself.
The Kidsuper FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 collection remains quintessentially KidSuper, brimming with eclectic prints, bold colors, and playful artistry. Yet, this season, Dillane explores more nuanced, subdued tones and textures, reflecting the show’s introspective theme of embracing uncertainty and transformation. Each piece serves as a canvas for storytelling, with Dillane’s signature hand-painted details and experimental silhouettes taking center stage.
While From a Place I Have Never Been is deeply personal, it’s also a testament to Dillane’s larger vision: pushing the boundaries of what KidSuper can be. By merging their worlds, Dillane and Wurtzel remind us that fashion is not just about clothing—it’s about creating moments that linger long after the final bow.
