RVDK Haute Couture SS25 / Spring Summer 2025 at Paris Fashion Week Couture presents WARDROBE 21
Paris Couture, January 28th 2025 RVDK Haute Couture SS25 entitled ‘Let the Sun Shine In’
Since 2014, we have been reinventing the notion of a couture house, with ‘New Ethics in Luxury Fashion’ as our mission. All our creations are made with everything that’s left—nothing new…… Vintage and surplus couture fabrics. Handwoven Thai fabrics from local Thai archives. Leather and unique remnants rescued from luxury brand bag productions. Vintage feathers. Vintage wall hangings and other trouvailles. Jewelry and embellishments crafted from vintage Thai jewelry, leftover beads, pearls, reimagined plastic bottles, antique finds, buttons, and more.
RVDK celebrate IRL handwork—celebrating the human touch, guided by intuition, love, passion, creativity, artisanship, and the beauty of perfect imperfection.
Looks 1, 7, 19, and 27 pay homage to the exquisite artisanship of Thai silk, created with an extraordinary selection of ultra-refined, original handwoven Thai silk fabrics sourced from fabric archives. This is a special collaboration with Thayna Soares that highlights the timeless beauty of these textiles. Every piece is a labour of love.
