In a contemporary world that pushes on the accelerator, ZIGGY CHEN offers a suspended, contemplative, and poetic momentum. VOLEISURE summarises Volition and Leisure, a relaxed and elegant attitude to everyday gestures.
The textures and colours refer to the intricate traditional wooden architecture and watercolour painting. A blending of contrasts between the solidity of ancient wood and the fluidity and lightness of ink that slowly dissolves into water, an instant before leaving its mark on the paper.
The colour palette underlines the imperturbable and calm inclination of the garments. Shades of light green, khaki green, olive green, and deep brown-red, with accents of black and grey-blue, distinguish Ziggy Chen FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026. The pristine evocation of the encounter between the natural and the urban. A symbolic image: the precise point where the architecture of a roof meets the winter sky. Textures take us back to the sinuous wood carvings of traditional Chinese architecture, combined with the abstract and organic shapes of ink watercolour. These elements are particularly reflected in the new iacquard patterns of the cashmere sweaters.
Materials emphasise the natural and decontracte aspect of VOLEISURE. Natural fibres such as wool, cashmere, cotton, linen, and hemp are preferred. Fabrics are used pure or in new combinations such as a cashmere and linen blend for outerwear, and a cotton and linen mixed denim-style twill. The inclusion of Jacquard offers a new point of view, combined with the other duffles of the collection.
Ziggy Chen FW25 / Fall Winter 2025 – 2026 silhouette enhances wearability and essential lines. The volumes’ elegance is exalted by casual details and the combination of fabrics, for a dainty but relaxed effect.
